On The Bus LLC

Formed New Years Eve 2010.

The name comes from the book Good to Great, in which Jim Collins mentions having the right people in the right seat on the bus. There is of course also the Grateful Dead line to the song The Other One, “The bus came by and I go on and that’s where it all began.” I got on that bus in 1983.

On The Bus was originally created to assist owners open sales opportunities. Since our inception, we have evolved so much more. We’ve worked with 100s of companies offering world-class sales training, coaching & consulting.

Our Sales Training classes are not limited to one school of thought. We have a routine schedule with an interactive curriculum discussing real-life situations.

We have seen great growth in those that attend regularly and people do go through the cycle multiple times. You can always learn something here.

On The Bus Preamble

On The Bus is a community for people that sell. We share our experience, strength, and hope at weekly meetings with the intent of helping others grow and achieve success in a safe environment.

We offer one meeting a week. The 1st Friday of the month a Lunch & Learn 11:30 – 1:30. The 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month, sales training. 10:00 -12:00 and the 3rd Tuesday of the month a discussion meeting 11:30 – 12:30. All meetings are held here. You or a guest may come to the first meeting of your choice for free. After that, there is a $400 a month or $250 per class.

The format of this meeting is as follows:

Discussion Meeting Format

Chairperson and a leader. Chairperson picks a leader to tell their sales / entrepreneurial story in a general way and wrap it up with a topic that we will discuss. The topic may be one that they struggle with or feel that they are an expert on. We will discuss the topic giving each a chance to share for 2 – 5 minutes. The leader speaks for about 12 minutes, ready go.

Sales Training Format

We start every meeting with 30-second introductions. We then have an open forum to discuss sales challenges and get feedback from the group. Then we have a topic discussion from one of our 20 or so topics.

Bus Stop Format

Chairperson introduces the speaker and pays for the room. Presenter pays for lunch. Presenter speaks for roughly an hour on a topic they are an expert on, infomercial, not a sales opportunity.


You or a guest may come to the first meeting of your choice for free. After that, there is a $500 a month or $250 per class.
