Deborah Laurel
Deborah Spring Laurel has been a trainer and a consultant in the areas of workplace learning and performance improvement for fifty years.
She has over thirty-five years of experience as the President of Laurel and Associates, Ltd., a certified woman-owned small business that specializes in enhancing interpersonal dynamics within organizations through tailored training programs.
She has designed and facilitated hundreds of different skill-building participant-based workshops for managers, employees, and trainers on an international basis.
Deborah taught management and supervisory topics for the Executive Management Institute and the Small Business Development Center in the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin- Madison for thirty years. She has her master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Deborah is also a Certified Professional Consultant to Management, with forty-five years of experience in human resource management, organizational development, executive coaching, and performance consulting.
For 4 years, she consulted with J.J.Strossmeyer University in Osijek, Croatia to design the first Eastern European participant-based Masters Degree program in Entrepreneurship. It has resulted in over 100 new businesses there.
Her articles are published in the 2004 – 2013 Consulting and Training volumes of the Pfeiffer Annuals, The Leadership Challenge Activities Book and 101 More Ways to Make Training Active.
